– Through practicum placements, our BSW students contribute an average of more than 47,000 hours of community service each year.

– Students who earn a BSW degree are eligible for Advanced Standing in an MSW program, earning their master’s degree with only one additional year.

– Employment of social workers is expected to continue to quickly grow, especially in health care, mental health, and substance abuse setting

– Dr. Patrick Panos, Director of the Bachelor of Social Work Program, was selected to receive the 2016 Outstanding Program Director Award by the Association of Baccalaureate Social Work Program Directors
