Self-Motivation

- Are you willing to email or have discussions with people you might never see?

Self-Discipline
- Do you finish the projects that you start?
- Are you good at setting goals and deadlines for yourself?
- Do you persevere, even if things get difficult?
- Can you keep yourself on track and on time?
- Can you solve problems on your own?
Learning Style
- Can you learn from things you hear, like lectures, audio recordings, or podcasts?
- Can you learn from reading?
- Do you learn best by figuring things out for yourself?
Technical Requirements
- Do you have a reliable computer?
- Do you have a fast, reliable internet connection?
- Do you have headphones or speakers and a microphone?
- Are you comfortable installing software and changing configuration settings on your computer?
- Do you have virus protection software running on your computer?
Designated Workspace
- Do you have a place where you can read and work on assignments without distractions?
- Can you ignore distractions around you when you study?
- Will the people around you help you study and not try to distract you?
